Spartans In :60 is a new series from Michigan State athletics designed to tell the stories of our student-athletes and what shapes them, not only as competitors but also as students and members of the MSU community.

MSU Student-Athletes gathered at the Clara Bell Smith Center to wrap presents for families in need.

Four players scored in double-figures to lift the Spartans over Rhode Island, 82-38. Freshman Sidney Cooks led the way with 17 points.

Day one of practice is in the books as the Spartans begin preparation for facing Washington State in the Holiday Bowl on December 28.
